The Twisted Pro™ 4L80E is built for higher-horsepower street cars, muscle cars, LS swaps, trucks, SUVs, and towing applications that need more holding power than our Twisted Street™ build.

This is a heavy-duty performance build with increased clutch capacity, stronger hydraulic control, upgraded hard parts, new internal electronics, and a billet apply-piston lockup converter.

🔧 COMPLETE MASTER OVERHAUL KIT

New gaskets, seals, sealing rings, bonded pistons, bushings, bearings, thrust washers, filter and internal wear items.

This restores proper sealing, oil control and internal clearances.

Higher-capacity friction materials are selected for increased holding power and improved heat resistance.

New steels provide a clean, flat apply surface for consistent clutch engagement.

Additional direct clutches are installed where clearance allows to increase holding power during high-load operation.

This improves durability during heavy throttle, towing and performance driving.

A new heavy-duty intermediate band provides improved holding power and durability under increased load.

🔥 UPDATED 34-ELEMENT INTERMEDIATE SPRAG

The updated sprag is stronger than early factory designs and helps prevent intermediate sprag failures in higher-torque applications.

⚙️ PERFORMANCE VALVE BODY — TWISTED TORQUE™ SPEC

The valve body is completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected.

Hydraulic circuits are calibrated for increased line pressure, improved clutch apply, firmer shift timing and dependable converter lockup while maintaining excellent street manners.

🔥 SONNAX UPDATES

Sonnax valves, sleeves and hydraulic upgrades are installed where wear is found in pressure, boost, oil-feed and converter circuits.

These repairs help eliminate pressure loss, delayed engagement and clutch slippage.

🔧 UPDATED PUMP

The pump is inspected and calibrated for proper pressure, converter feed, lubrication and cooler flow.

Recommended pump upgrades improve pressure stability and long-term reliability.

🔧 CENTER-SUPPORT UPDATE

The center support and retaining hardware are inspected and updated as needed to improve durability under increased load.

🔧 NEW INTERNAL ELECTRONICS

New EPC solenoid, shift solenoids, TCC solenoid, internal wiring harness and applicable sensors are installed.

Electronics are matched to the transmission year and vehicle application.

🌡️ COOLING RECOMMENDATIONS

An external transmission cooler is strongly recommended for towing, hauling and high-performance applications.

Cooler lines and Cooler must be properly flushed or replaced before installation. Contamination from the previous transmission can damage the new build.
