- Check engine crankshaft end play before installation
- Inspect flexplate for cracks or damage
- Verify proper torque converter installed clearance
- External transmission cooler required
- Replace or properly flush complete cooler system
- Inspect factory converter drainback/check valve for restriction
- Verify unrestricted cooler flow before operation
- Free-flowing cooler-line upgrade recommended where applicable
- TV cable must be properly adjusted
- Verify line pressure after installation
- Maintain proper fluid, filter and band service
