The Punisher™ retains the Ford AOD platform while replacing the known weak areas with a forged forward drum, mechanical diode, wide overdrive setup, 300M one-piece shaft and non-lockup performance converter.

The factory cast AOD forward drum is replaced with the Sonnax one-piece forged drum. The Sonnax drum increases forward clutch capacity by 20% and eliminates the weak cast snap-ring groove found in the original AOD drum.
