⚙️ TCM / PROGRAMMING NOTE (IMPORTANT)

This transmission uses an EXTERNAL Transmission Control Module (TCM) (T87 / T87A) mounted on the vehicle — NOT inside the transmission.

✔ No internal control module is used on 8L90 units

✔ Customer retains and reuses factory TCM

✔ No TCM is included with this transmission

Proper tuning / calibration is REQUIRED for operation.

👉 Especially for:

• Custom tuning environments

• Converter changes

• Swap applications

Failure to properly calibrate the TCM can result in improper operation and will void warranty.

⚙️ START/STOP SYSTEM (REQUIRED SELECTION)

This transmission is available in Start/Stop (Auto Stop/Start) and Non-Start/Stop configurations.

👉 You MUST select the correct option when ordering.

Customer is responsible for verifying whether the vehicle is equipped with Start/Stop prior to ordering.
