The 700R4 transmission is TV (Throttle Valve) cable controlled, and proper setup is mandatory.

✔ Correct TV cable geometry and adjustment are required

✔ Improper setup will cause:

• Low line pressure
• Clutch slip
• Immediate transmission failure

👉 Improper TV cable installation is the #1 cause of 700R4 failure and is not covered under warranty.
