The 6R140 Diesel came in several different configurations depending on drivetrain and truck setup.

Configurations include:

• 2WD PTO

• 2WD Non-PTO

• 4x4 PTO

• 4x4 Non-PTO

• Flange Yoke vs Slip Yoke

Please verify your setup carefully before ordering or contact us with your VIN before purchase.

⚠️ IMPORTANT TUNING & COOLING NOTE

The 6R140 Diesel transmission is extremely sensitive to heat, tuning, converter lockup strategy, towing load, and line pressure calibration.

Improper tuning or inadequate cooling can quickly damage transmission components.

Twisted Torque strongly recommends:

• Upgraded transmission cooling

• Deep transmission pan

• Proper transmission tuning

• Monitoring transmission temperatures

• Proper converter lockup strategy

• Proper tire and gear ratio setup

Improper tuning or excessive heat can lead to:

• Converter failure

• Burnt clutches

• Pressure instability

• Excessive heat buildup

• Premature transmission failure

Final vehicle tuning and cooling system condition are the responsibility of the installer and vehicle owner.
