IMPORTANT INSTALLATION & SERVICE

• Check engine crankshaft end play before installation
• Inspect flexplate for cracks or damage
• Verify proper torque converter installed clearance
• External transmission cooler required
• Replace or properly flush the complete cooler system
• COOLER FLOW: Inspect the factory converter drainback/check valve and cooler circuit for restriction. Restricted cooler flow can cause overheating, loss of lubrication and transmission failure. Free-flowing cooler-line upgrades are recommended where applicable.
• Replace contaminated or restricted cooler lines
• Transmission temperature monitoring recommended for towing
• TV cable must be properly adjusted
• Verify line pressure after installation
• Maintain proper fluid, filter and band service
